About the Event

Ann Cole Lowe, an African-American lady, was an important American designer whose life's story started in Alabama and continued to New York City where her clients were some of the most elite members of society--- Rockefeller, DuPont and more. Her most famous creation was the wedding dress worn by Jaqueline Bouvier --- the future First Lady, wife of President John F. Kennedy. 30 minute presentation & 15 minute look at one of her creations on exhibit at the Museum.
