About the Event

On Saturday, February 22 join us at The Newberry Museum at 2:00 p.m. for a presentation by Carlton Kinard on African-American fraternities and sororities!


Mr. Kinard is a native of Newberry County and active leader in our community. Also, he is the Newberry City Council District 3 Councilman, Muller Center Associate Director for Multicultural & Civic Engagement at Newberry College, president of the Newberry County branch of the NAACP, and member and trustee of New Enoree Baptist Church.
