About the Event
Often there’s a hidden meaning behind an innocent bouquet of flowers. What might seem meaningless today was seen differently 150 years ago. In a short slide presentation, we will explore the floral vocabulary and how such messages can be found in 19th century art. Armed with this knowledge, we will tour the Museum’s exhibit with an eye for hidden meaning.
