"A Closer Look"

Join us as we take “A Closer Look” at what women wore in the South Carolina Backcountry during the Revolutionary War Era, and, learn how you might portray them by wearing history-based, faithful reproductions of their garments.

“We study, create and wear history-based, faithful reproductions of late 18th Century garments to better understand the life of women in the South Carolina backcountry during the American Revolutionary War. Learn about them; Learn from them. Remember and Respect.”
