“An Oral History of a Japanese War Bride”

On Saturday, July 26 at 1:00 p.m. join us at The Newberry Museum for a presentation by Rose Marie Favors as she presents Miss Moto’s journey from Gifu, Japan to South Carolina, titled, “An Oral History of a Japanese War Bride.” Learn how World War II affected the lives of ordinary people in Japan – before, during and after the war.

This presentation coincides with our current exhibit, “A Global Odyssey” – Newberry’s connections to the global community. There will be more items exhibited that day brought by Mrs. Favors, in addition to the current Japan display.

Museum Admission and Presentation are FREE!
